I have developed a research project in the areas of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials. In a nutshell, this was an industrial project that aimed at the fabrication of non-stick polymer containers by utilizing femtosecond laser micromachining and injection molding techniques to increase recycling and avoid extra handling. As a result, I have received 1,000, and an intensive presentation skills training, which led me to present my project in a more complete version during the "2021 SEDTALKS!", a Sustainable, Engineering, and Design event hosted by TISED. ▪ 1st place among Master's students on the "Chemical Engineering Research Days 2021". ▪ Recipient of 3 prestigious awards: McGill Engineering Doctoral Award (MEDA), TISED Doctoral Recruitment Award (DRA), and Graduate Excellence Fellowship (GEF). ▪ Interview in the "Abstract: The Future of Science" podcast, and in the "Chemical Engineering Life" (ChemEnggLife) platform.
